Cup make over

Hey guys!

I saved this  Costa coffee (take away) cup that i "took away" atleast 2-3 months ago. I finally made time to repaint the red/maroon to a tangy yellow/orange! :P

First i started with doing neat colors - Yellow, Orange and darker orange/red. Then i realised its missing something.. So i used my hand to have the paint all over the corrugated areas ;)

I never feel satisfied without using my hands while painting :P so i liked it better messy than neat!

I like the way the cup is designed.. feels corrugated but still strong when held! So it went through 2 layers of paint.. First was the primer - white base.. this is done to showcase the natural colors as the base of the cup was in a darker shade.. one mite lose the actual color of the paint on coating..

Then after the messy finish, i added a tiny bit of flower thingy :P just to give it an hawaii look ;) Just try not to add too much water to the paint.. i used none.. as the water can soften the cup and may end up tearing apart.. So you dont want that to happen.. 

When you are happie with what you are looking at, finish it.. i always have the tendency to over do :P then end up redoing.. this time i stopped myself ;)

So it looks sooper cool! <3 atleast i think it does! ;)
