We learn from customers!

There have been times when my beaded jewelry (not semi precious) have faded due to various reasons like dampening, not keeping them safe, etc. and I have taken my time to redo it because i never ever want any of my customers [80% of whom i meet almost daily] to hold onto handmades they cannot use and this in a way also creates bad experience about my brand.

My older model
This time however, i heard some heart breaking news from my customer about my paper jewelry. I am passionate about paper jewelry, i am fascinated with the many things that can be made out of these. When i heard that one of them actually broke even before the customer could wear it was shocking. I am however, very happy that she approached to address the condition. This in a way helps me to correct my model plus this time i would be more careful and wait till i am completely satisfied with the design.

I make my paper jewelries using Fevicryl Hobby Ideas "No Stitch glue" which has proven very efficient to me for the past one year. So when i tried to understand the real reason behind the disruption, it was the design. The paper was not settling as the model was big and make of smaller pieces of paper strips and sterdiness happens to be a question which i missed. The problem was with the model.

The remodelled design
So, finally after i tested and proved that it was the problem with the design, I was ready to make the upgrade. Only this  time, i made sure i changed the outlook a little bit so it doesn't go breaking off this time too.

I thank Dhanya for coming forward and addressing this problem and trust me, this has helped in learning and as a evolving artist, this has helped me in testing each of my handmades whilst designing.

So, if any of my handmades have caused you similar problem please do not hesitate to contact me for redesigning or suggesting - Ladies Fingers
